Job Description Job Description The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for proper repair and maintenance work on process equipment within a manufacturing plant. This is a Part-time, 1st shift position. Pay 21 -25 an hour Some of the Qualifications/Requirements of the Maintenance Technician include: • Experience in a maintenance position within a manufacturing facility • Electrician's license a plus • Must work well in a team environment • Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs as needed • Must be able to walk or stand or climb ladders throughout the shift Some of the Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include: • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and correcting maintenance issues • Suggesting improvements to process methods for safety, quality and cost • Assist with machine preventative maintenance • Perform repairs to mechanical components, electrical controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, safety circuits, PLC's, and other equipment as necessary • Read and understand blueprints, machine, and shop drawings • Safely use shop equipment like band-saws, milling machines, lathes, grinders, and welders LIND26
