Job Description:

TEKsystems is hiring an inside sales representative for a manufacturing company in Norfolk, VA.Job Description:--- -Sell products and services to new and existing customers via telephone, fax and email.--- Enter sales orders and quotes into P21.--- Provide pricing and product information as requested.--- Provide customer and outside sales representative with price and updated delivery information as required.--- Assist walk in customers if needed.--- Ensure that catalog data and pricing provided to the customer is current.--- Follow through with customer inquiries, complaints and discrepancies and ensure all are handled / corrected in a timely manner.--- Follow up on all customer quotes to determine outcome.--- Attend department or company-wide meetings as required.Additional Skills & Qualifications:2 years of experience in the customer support or inside sales - open to industryIndustrial/Manufacturing l sales experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Physical Requirements:This position is generally considered medium work which includes exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work performed will include the following: sitting, standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
