TECHEAD is currently in search of professional customer service representatives who want to be part of a dynamic healthcare environment. This employee will field internal and external calls related to hospital operations & patient needs. 1 year of call experience required.

Hospital Communications/Liaison Staff/16649

6-month, Contract-to-Hire
On-site work required

**Client requires proof of vaccination or willingness to be vaccinated prior to start.**
**Rotating shift work in a 24/7 call center environment.**

Customer service representatives will be responsible for answering and processing four types of calls:

  • Internal calls from hospital staff, primarily nursing needing to reach other departments or on-call physicians.
  • External calls from customers looking for departments, appointments, test results, etc.
  • Patient information calls from family and friends of patients, usually wanting to know what room their loved one is in or to speak with their nurse.
  • Emergency Alerts include medical, security, and facility alerts. These are much like 911 calls from within the organization. some being very complex. Job Requirements: Must be proficient in or able to learn proficiency in the following:
    • A multi-line phone system, including physical phone and phone, integrated CTI
    • Spok SmartSuite Console- software utilized for paging, tracking, directory, and patient lookup
    • Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
    • Overhead paging systems Skills:
      • Basic computer skills
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Attention to detail
      • Critical thinking and decision making
      • Adaptable within an ever-changing environment
