An international agricultural products and services company, we handle agricultural commodities and have a diverse portfolio of products and businesses.SummaryThis position will be responsible for supervising and managing production operations within the soybean crushing facility to ensure profitability.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLeads and manages the crushing staff to include hiring, training and developing staff to meet the needs of the business.Leads and manages safety programs to ensure safe working conditions for all associates and compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.Lead and manage environmental programs to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements.Manage production operations to ensure maximum equipment and personnel utilization.Manage the product quality to ensure customer requirements and specifications are attained.Manage routine and preventative maintenance programs for the production operations to ensure efficient operation.Perform job functions within established CGMP's.Minimum EducationBachelors Degree (Agriculture, Management, Business, Engineering) or 10 years of experience can be substituted for degreeExperience Requirements3 - 5 years experience. Understanding of manufacturing technologies, quality control processes, safety and environmental programs and requirements and standard software applications. Strong communication, math, analytical and interpersonal skills.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsAble to move freely throughout AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), exposure to extreme temperatures (0- 100 degrees Fahrenheit), humidy (0- 100%), noise (50db to 100db) hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
