Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES
--- Manage and resolve escalated issues arising from operations and coordinating with other departments
--- Manage and perform all necessary audits and reporting in accordance with Co. policies and procedures
--- Design and implement policies and procedures for claims as needed
--- Analyze and process all claims, identifying all risks, ensuring optimal quality
--- Complete claim settlements, legal reviews, and investigations in accordance with Co. policies and procedures
--- Investigate and evaluate all business unit associate claims
--- Provide accurate data and strategy to management for decision making processes
--- Prepare reports for various business units and management
--- Monitor all chargeback expenses and provide report to clients and management as needed
--- Monitor effectiveness of all programs and provide support to all open claim file reviews
--- Manage all payment cycle to ensure compliance to all contract requirements
--- Perform investigation on all reserve increases and perform regular surveillance of all claim issues and maintain efficient location code listing for TPAs
--- Schedule all internal and external audits on all claims issues and supervise processing of all billing issues QUALIFICATIONS
--- Experience in working on DOT projects in general and TxDOT in particular a plus
--- Exercise tact / diplomacy while building relationships with contractors, co-workers, and management
--- Must have excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
--- Proficient with Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
--- Position requires consent to undergo a background and drug test - subject to condition of employment
--- Minimum 2 years of experience in Safety and/or Claims Department
--- Bachelor's Degree in Business is preferred
