Production Supervisor - Membranes

The Production Supervisor-Membranes provides direction and
assistance to membrane work group in order to meet assigned
objectives, production schedules and customer demands. In this role
you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply
concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues
through immediate action or short-term planning.
--- Guide a team of non-exempt employees to support the business in
readying membrane equipment for dispatch for customer
--- Support daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and
external customer commitments with top quality at the lowest cost,
implement a strategy to reduce cycle times, and improve quality,
service, and safety.
--- Develop, coordinate, guide and execute daily production
--- Work cross functionally/cross departmentally in an effort to
support getting membrane products ready to serve.
--- Provide input to Engineering and Controls on new product
development ensuring products will be serviceable
--- Provide Product Service content for and assist in the
development of training courses for new and updated products
--- Report product defects ensuring these are resolved and report
solutions to appropriately.
--- Coordinate with Product Development and other departments to
ensure service requirements are voiced
--- Maintain product knowledge as new products are released
--- Provide training to employees to further the knowledge of
membrane equipment preparation.
--- Interact with NPI group to ensure new equipment meets our
--- Will work on every facet of membrane technology and equipment
to make ready for customer fulfillment.
--- Accomplish goals while maintaining high team morale, employee
involvement, safety and teamwork
--- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
--- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production
--- At least 2 years of water treatment or water treatment
--- ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight - 50
- Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to: read, and interpret technical
manuals, procedures, and regulations; to write reports; to
subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to
include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing
facilities, and power industry facilities
--- Prior leadership experience and training is preferred
--- Prior experience with Reverse Osmosis, UltraFiltration,
ElectroDeionization membrane operation and maintenance
--- Prior experience with PLC Logic and controls
--- Prior maintenance, controls or operational troubleshooting
--- Associates Degree in electrical, industrial/mechanical,
engineering, or water treatment
--- Ability to build and lead a team through change
--- Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management
--- Six Sigma training is preferred
--- Strong organizational skills
--- Ability to work without direct supervision
--- Strong understanding of business processes in a service
--- Ability to manage contract resources
--- Strong oral and written communication skills
--- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
