CACI is seeking an Assistant Team Lead, to support an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command's Logistics Type Desk.

As an Assistant Team Lead, you'll be supporting an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command's Logistics Type Desk.

What You'll Get To Do:

* Provide ongoing mentorship, lead and monitor your team in areas of success or struggle, support, and care for members on LTD


* Celebrate successes individually, as a team, and with the entire program


* Equip and work collaboratively and proactively with your team and the leadership to share knowledge through, meetings, training opportunities, peer coaching and other forums to find solutions


* Act as the conduit for information and guidance, assist in planning Professional Development Sessions


* Support the development of employees, provide performance feedback quarterly for CACI employees via touchpoints


* Support the timely execution of contract requirements, ensuring precise completion of all reports and deliverables


* Assist the primary Team Lead making hiring and performance-related decisions, timekeeping compliance and administrative actions


* Provide continuous on-site planning, Resolve emergent planning and logistic issues of logistics, supply and configuration of various class ships during the ship repair and alteration periods


* Interface with NORSHIPCOs AOR Program principals and government representatives. Responsible for overall status of requirements and quality of products


* Research, order, and track material identified by Principal Port Engineers as Government Furnished Material (GFM) on a weekly excel report and identify alternate requirements from procurement of monitored Long Lead Time Material (LLTM) and Critical Path material


* Track Temporary Navy Items Control Number (TNICN) functions to include receipt and turn in of refurbished materials as well as research, validate and provide up to date feedback to Type Desk via a monthly excel report


* Provide review/verification of Statements of Work, Sole Source Justifications, determination and Findings and Urgency statements for Logistics Type Desk regarding order submission


* Review ship shortage list against approved parts lists; Recommend possible actions to correct shortages


* Research parts for install to identify an existing Allowance Parts List (APL) or create APL. Review / adjust ships configuration file as necessary for the addition, deletion or modification of HSC items


* Initiate feedbacks based on research, review, new developments which include configuration change (CK), and live update to MSCs Configuration Logistics Inventory Program (CLIP) for all class ships


* Perform technical editing using research tools, such as LOGIQUEST, One Touch, PIEE, drawings, manuals and other research methods.


* Confer with MSC Client, Port Engineers, Integrated Logistics Specialist and other stakeholders to analyze and determine Supply-chain efficiency


* Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates for deliverables as required



You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* Secret clearance


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and relevant experience fleet sustainment logistics support services to fleet vessels of the MSC, U.S. Navy, or U.S. Coast Guard.


* Highly proficient in MS Office products; strong emphasis on Excel


* Lead People or Emerging Leaders Program


* Leadership courses on CVU
