Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a Contract
Administrator to administer large and complex contracts for ship
repair programs. With guidance from the Contract Manager, this
position will act as a point of contact between the company, the
customer, and Project personnel for interpretation of
contracts/specifications and negotiation of change orders in
accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements.
As a Senior Contract Administrator you will;
- Monitor the contract's performance and submit reports and
recommendations to management.
- Review contract and maintain daily dialogue with the company
and customer to address and resolve contract matters in a timely
manner. Review, administer and negotiate change orders with
customers.
- Work with the program team to monitor job progress and identify
appropriate mitigation steps to proactively manage program
risks.
- Initiate recommendations to management to improve
performance.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience or
equivalent experience
- Extensive working knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
- Critical attention to detail with financial acumen.
- Full knowledge of industry best practices in the acquisition
and/or execution of services and supplies for federal and
commercial contracts
- Experience with one of the following: IDIQ - Delivery/Task
Orders, Contract Types: FFP, FFP LOETC, CPFF, T&M, etc., and
Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
- Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Preferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Experience with the following types of Contracts: Firm-Fixed
Price, Cost Reimbursement and Hybrid
- Ship Repair ExperiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$71600 - $121700Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
