Clearance Requirement: -Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearanceTravel Requirements: Up to 15%Location: Norfolk and Little Creek, VASUMMARY: WR Systems has an opportunity for a System Test Engineer to provide Test and Evaluation support for the WSN 12 Project.Position responsibilities -will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Independently analyzes the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources and modern hardware.
• Works under the minimal technical supervision of experienced senior personnel for daily and weekly tasks.
• Develops and executes test scripts and scenarios to evaluate the functionality of systems.
• Creates test data to validate functional and technical requirements.
• Interacts with engineering to analyze and perform tests for systems.
• Participates in project reviews.
• Collects data and analyzes pattern.
• Provides documentation and regular progress reports for test cases.
• Performs new tests when field data failures or other problems arise.
• May train, oversee, and provide tasks to junior test engineers.Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline.
  • Six (6) + years of professional experience working as a test analyst, systems engineer, test engineer, or similar.
  • Experience with Software Development / testing with C++, Linux / Unix operations experience.
  • Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance.
