is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Day Shift
Accounts Receivable Specialist I
For the Patient Accounts department in Norfolk, VA .
This position is responsible for the billing of insurance claims
and the resolution of issues preventing the payment of outstanding
accounts receivable, for assigned payer(s).
Demonstrates a working knowledge of business operations. Positive
attitude, attention to detail, questioning attitude, willingness to
collaborate with leadership and other team members to continuously
improve processes.
A total of one year of experience across the following: billing or
resolving insurance accounts receivable, adjudicating insurance
claims, pre-registering or registering patients for healthcare
services, handling calls in a customer service call center. A
healthcare certification from an accredited program or an Associate
degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
Extensive training provided for entry-level candidates and
opportunities for advancement provided.
