Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a senior SQL analyst to join one
of our clients in Norfolk, VA. This position will be direct hire
sitting in Norfolk, VA. This is a Senior Data and Analytics role
will be responsible for building and maintaining large complex SQL
coding processes. This role is focused on querying and analyzing
the business performance to facilitate improvement to the
segmentation criteria, processes, and activity decisions being
taken. This role is expected to assist with the management of
account inventory, collection activity, and customer data by
maintaining operational activity segmentation selection (SQL based)
processes and their required monitoring and controls for quality
assurance. The position will deploy testing to ensure accounts
receive appropriate and profitable treatment, and to ensure
compliance with applicable regulations or policies. The Sr. Analyst
role will be responsible for building complex queries and to
conduct analysis to measure the impact of strategy improvements and
provide recommendations for strategy testing and criteria
adjustments.
Experience in NPL markets or comparable work experience
preferred.
Bachelors Degree required, and a minimum of 4-6 years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience required.
SQL experience.
High level analytical problem-solving skills
Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills using data
analysis and utilizing excel or other statistical packages.
Ability to write complex join, union, pivot, common table
expression query statements for complex data calculations using
time window functions in SQL.
Ability to write and troubleshoot stored procedures in MS Sql
server (TSQL and or PLSQL experience preferred).
Able to Create, Modify, and Execute SQL Server scheduled jobs & SQL
Server stored procedures.
Ability to create, develop and modify reports based upon
operational requirements.
Proficient at developing and maintaining reporting packages through
visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
Strong excel skills (charts/graphs/formulas/macros)
Basic version control knowledge. (Github)
