NexGen Data Systems Inc. (NGDS) is seeking Security SME-Operations (SME 4) who will support our government customer(s) through support of operations and/or accreditation of Federal enterprise networks, software, and/or applications. This will include DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and maintenance for operating systems, network appliances, storage devices, servers, software, etc. This role will also be responsible for installation, maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting federal operational networks, virtualized computing environments, software, cloud, and/or applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supporting operations and/or accreditation of Federal enterprise networks, software, and/or applications
• Implementation and maintenance of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) for operating systems, network appliances, storage devices, servers, software, etc.
• Installation, maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting federal operational networks, virtualized computing environments, software, cloud, and/or applications
• Works with team members to develop operational policies procedures, standards, and guidelines based on best practices and compliance requirements
• Participates in the development and maintenance of system documentation lifecycle
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required/Desired Skills:

Education Requirement: Technical training in support of enterprise networks, cloud, automation, operating systems, software, operations, or computing/storage deployment and configuration

Certification Requirement:

• CompTIA Security+ AND

One of the following:

• Forescout Certified Administrator (FSCA);
• Forescout Advanced Administrator;
• Forescout Certified Engineer;
• RSA SecureID Access Certified Associate;
• RSA SecureID Access Certified Professional

Experience Requirement:

• Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience supporting operations and/or accreditation of federal enterprise networks, software, and/or applications
• Experience should include implementation/maintenance of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) for Federal/DoD approved operating systems, network appliances, storage devices, servers, software, etc.
• Experience should include installation, maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting in support of federal operational networks, virtualized computing environments, software, cloud, and/or applications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be a self-starter who can manage their time and priorities successfully
• Must be collaborative with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to evolving processes and priorities
• Team player with ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to consistently complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner
• Active DoD Security Clearance
• DoD 8570 compliance required
