Job Description:
This project will be onsite in a highly cleared facility and
requires US Citizenship. The consultant must able to travel to
Norfolk, VA and be able to pass a substantial background check. The
consultant should an extensive background installing, maintaining,
and refreshing Oracle database for development, test and production
environments; performing database patching, upgrade and migration
as necessary; analyzing performance issues and providing
recommendation based on testing results; proactively diagnosing and
resolving problems affecting database; Required Background:
Experience conducting database migrations between different
platforms Experience upgrading databases from lower versions to
latest versions of the database Background with database
administration running on ASM storage Background in Develop/Test
backup/restore shell scripts and implement in production systems
Solid experience in setting up Dataguard/Standby environments using
ASM storage Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and
10+years of experience Minimum 4+ years of experience with
logical/physical data design Strong Experience with RAC (Real
Application Clusters) Experience with Oracle backup and recovery
Experience with Storage management, including Oracle ASM Experience
with Unix operating system and Unix scripting Experience with
Oracle 12c
