Job SummaryAmentum is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare
Engineering technician to join our Norfolk,VA team. Essential
Responsibilities: Provide support to engineering and design staff
in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance,
repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication,
construction and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical
equipment and systems in accordance with engineering
specifications. Install, monitor, and service SWFTS Tech-Insertion
& APB cycle of AN/BLQ-10 ESM systems at various Naval locations.
Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, certification tasks.
Perform validations/ verifications of various electronic systems.
Review change proposals for equipment impacts. Assist in
accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions. Develop
technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems,
technical manuals, trouble-shooting procedures, drawing updates,
operation procedures, and maintainability improvements. Establish
and maintain a filing system, databases, and logs as needed for
tracking project status and inventory. Provide technical data and
evaluation for components installation, equipment maintenance and
systems consistent with engineering plans, layout and contract
requirements. Minimum RequirementsFormal electronics training from
a Technical or U.S. Navy "C" school and at least 10 years years of
job-related experience. Must have an active Secret clearance, which
requires US citizenship. Practical experience in the maintenance,
troubleshooting, and/or repair of C5I and/or NC3 systems/equipment.
Experience in the maintenance/repair and/or installation
disciplines. Experience in design, preparation, and modification of
engineering documents, and drawings. Excellent communications and
analytical skills. Must be able to travel up to 60%. Preferred
Qualifications Preferred candidates will possess knowledge across
multiple submarine platforms and SWFTS systems. EOE including
