SUMMARY

Develops and executes communications that support the strategic goals of CVP and its subsidiaries in the delivery of key messages that enhance the image and increase awareness of all partner practices.

Demonstrates quality patient service during interactions with patients, coworkers, and vendors:

  • Maintains professionalism in interactions with patients and coworkers

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees social media footprint (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.): Creates content for the conversation calendar, Develops a strategy for boosting social content, Responds to comments and engages in conversation, Works with external partners to source assets, Measures results and integrates lessons.
  • Leads the development of content and planning for the partner practices websites: Develops the plan for website content, Keeps website content current, Creates and maintains a blog, Partners with the agency to strengthen and improve the site, Measures results and integrates lessons.
  • Designs, builds, creates, researches and facilitates an on-going public relations program. This includes developing and pitching stories and setting meetings with doctors, patients, reporters and editors of important media outlets.
  • Designs, builds, creates, researches and maintains an electronic newsletter program targeting patients and influencers and coordinates the distribution of content.
  • Helps the marketing team with activities around partner practice events, health fairs, screenings or social meetings.
  • Possesses strong verbal, written presentation skills and has experience managing CRM databases.
  • Project management skills and be able to work independently and as a member of a group in a cooperative and collaborative manner.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to present and justify decisions and strategies to management.
  • Interpret new marketing communication trends and incorporate those in campaigns where appropriate.
  • A forward-looking focus on new marketing trends and the ability to incorporate trends into campaigns where appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a Bachelor degree with an emphasis in Communication or Marketing.
  • Must have 3 or more years marketing experience with an advertising agency, a news outlet, or a corporate marking department.
  • Must have experience managing websites, PR campaigns, newsletters, and social media outlets.
  • Must also have experience with pitching and developing stories and managing relationships with journalists.
  • Must have proficiency in computer skills, especially word processing. Experience with WordPress and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Must have exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to exercise professional judgment and maintain professional comportment under internal and media pressure.
  • Must possess strong editing, writing, excellent proofreading, and interviewing skills.
  • Full knowledge of grammar and proficiency in verbal and written use of the English language essential.
  • Must have excellent typing ability and telephone skills.
  • Must have understanding of Internet as integral piece of public relations/marketing strategies. Requires proven ability to juggle multiple projects.

Location: Work takes place in a normal office/clinical environment. Travel to other CVP locations may be necessary to fulfill essential duties and responsibilities of the job. Thus, those needing to travel for work must have access to dependable transportation, and driving record must meet company liability carrier standards.

Exposure: Works in normal office environment during normal business hours. May be exposed to blood or bodily fluids. May also be exposed to various cleaning supplies.

Equipment: The equipment typically used in this position is a computer, fax, copier, printer, scanner and telephone. Must have good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Access. Other equipment may be used as needed. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment.
