team establishing a "Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss" culture.
Assist in Master plan & Skill development to transition to and
sustain a proactive - planned information systems maintenance
program in Virginia Beach, Virginia location. Bring your expertise
and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military
defense and safety of our sailors.
In this Reliability/Sustainment Engineer role, you will:
* Originate and develop analysis methods to determine
reliability of components, equipment and processes. * Acquire and
analyze data. * Prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations
and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations
for improvements. * Conduct analysis of reliability problems and
investigates to determine the required reliability approach. *
Determine cost advantages of alternatives and action plans that
comply with internal/ external customer demands for reliable
processes/equipment to avoid failures. * Operate, maintain, and
administer the failure tracking database.
To be successful in this Reliability/Sustainment Engineer roll,
you will have:
* Bachelor's degree * 2 years of reliability engineering or
related experience * SECRET clearance eligibility
Additional desired experience and skills:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, or
equivalent * Experience with US Navy Logistics Automated
