Description:This Assembly role will be 20% Electronic and 80% Mechanical in nature. This person will be responsible for utilizing basic hand tools, power tools (drills) as well as performing basic SMT soldering and following a blueprint to assemble fuse panels, terminal boxes, light fixtures and basic enclosures for use on board Navy ships. Will also be performing wire terminations using crimp terminals as well as cable assemblies with connectors.Skills:Electronic Assembler, soldering, wiring, crimping, stripping, cable harness, blueprint, hand drill, pneumatic tools, Bauer, Plasser, TabetTop Skills Details:Mechanical AptitudeBlueprint Reading Basic Soldering SkillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must have previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or shop environment (Assemblers from Bauer, Plasser and Tabet have tranferable skills)Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools and basic soldering skillsMust possess a strong attention to detail to ensure assemblies are accurate based on instructionsStrong mechanical aptitude and work ethic to include consistent attendance and effective communicationExperience Level:Entry Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
