The Engagement Director is an integral, hands-on leader for a
group of our clients, providing vision, strategic counsel, agency
expertise, accountability and growth across our partnerships.
The position requires proven success in delivering on organic
growth, client relationship development and strategic insight on
conceptual digital projects. This means elevating transactional
client engagements to consultative, value-driven ones; generating,
qualifying and defining new opportunities across teams within
client organizations; earning the respect and sought-after counsel
of senior client stakeholders; and pushing the work to drive
impactful results, exceeding expectations.

peers and clients alike.
Develop meaningful client relationships through thought
partnership, strategic counsel, and genuine commitment to serving
the client’s best interests
Expand Grow’s relationships within our existing client base to
build rapport, make new connections, increase our visibility, and
generate new opportunities
Assess inbound project opportunities from our clients to help
identify potential fit and summarize the opportunity for
consideration by the leadership team
Connect client needs with Grow's expertise in the right ways to
drive opportunity development, including thoughtfully tailored
presentations of agency capabilities and relevant work, insightful
input to help shape client briefs, proactive client planning
conversations, and smart proposals for how to work together
Define the initial engagement on new opportunities with clients,
providing clarity around the brief, alignment on the measures of
success, and a perspective on the scope of work to ensure a
seamless handoff to our client engagement leads, strategists, and
producers who will drive the day-to-day work
Steer the development of our proposals in response to organic
opportunities, providing a strategic POV on Grow’s approach to the
work, and articulating relevant experience from our portfolio of

Digital experience and seven to ten years of agency experience
in account management or client-facing roles in account planning or
strategy required. Confidence presenting to clients and knowledge
of the digital space is a must. Experience or interest in the tech,
gaming, entertainment and sports industries is a plus.

This is a full-time position at our office in downtown Norfolk,
Virginia. Grow offers paid relocation and temporary housing for
selected candidates. Grow is located in downtown Norfolk/Virginia
