Job Description:
SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior
Software Engineer, for Our client, a leading global supplier of
secure radio communications and embedded high-grade encryption
solutions for military, government and commercial organizations.
Salary is in the $110K range with a comprehensive benefits and
relocation package. Responsibilities: Participating in
Requirements, Design, and Code reviews Proposing and implementing
changes in existing source code Generating and maintaining personal
schedules, milestones, and deliveries Presenting software changes
during code reviews Providing input for release notes and technical
documentation (User’s manuals, etc.) Participation in architecture
discussions for next generation product Maintenance of
configuration management tools for issue tracking and version
control Qualifications: BSEE (Electrical Eng.) / BSCS (Computer
Science) / BSCE (Computer Eng.) / BSSE (Software Eng.) or
equivalent with 10 years of experience. 6 years C# and
Microsoft.NET Winforms application programming 4 years object
oriented design and analysis experience Experience creating
requirements, design, and test documentation Experience integrating
software with hardware systems in SCADA environment Knowledge of
TCP/IP, Windows Sockets 2.0 API programming, and Windows Services
Knowledge of multi-processor and multi-threaded applications
Communication skills, both written and oral Preferred Additional
Skills: Familiarity with the Rational toolset (Specifically
ClearCase and Clearquest) IProcess-focused background, CMM or
equivalent IP and P25 protocols experience, including TCP, UDP,
Mobile IP, CSSI, ISSI, Windows sockets Understanding of VoIP
technologies, including SIP Experience with Microsoft .NET
framework Experience with Windows XP Embedded Cisco router/switch
configuration and management IEEE C.S.D.P. certification
