Job Description:
Systems Administrator POSITION SUMMARY: Provide system and
technical expertise in the development and maintenance of the Air
Force Acquisition Process Model (APM). Provide process improvement
documentation support. Position will support the Secretary of the
Air Force Acquisition Excellence and Change Office (SAF/AQXP) and
other Air Force acquisition activities as directed by the CRET Site
Lead. Serve as a spokesperson for CRET and SAF/AQXP concerning
technical issues as directed by the CRET Site Lead. ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide APM Maintenance through the
review of new and revised reference documents, the creation and
modification of the computer model that serves as the basis of the
APM, and the revision of associated APM documentation (such as
training documents and the reference document list). Identify
specific recommendation to the APM based on new and revised
reference documents. Identify, document, and implement system
functional changes to the APM. Assist in the facilitation and
documentation of Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) and Continuous
Process Improvement (CPI) events. Incudes scoping meetings, problem
definition and research meetings, face-to-face meetings, follow-up
meetings and all associated documentation. Track Rapid Improvement
Events across time for ROI, best practices and impacts to the
acquisition process. Archive historical efforts. Identify and
recommend computer system improvements based on cognizance of
existing and emerging technical capabilities. Maintain and
troubleshoot technical systems within the CRET. Support Air Force
information technology consistent with SAF/AQXP. REQUIRED/DESIRED
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS degree 2 years of current relevant
experience including Acquisition Process Model expertise Air Force
Acquisition experience Knowledge of AF structure interdependencies,
and organizational inter-relationships. CPI experience, IT
technical expertise, LEAN / SixSigma awareness U.S. citizenship
