Responsibilities Noblis Mission Solutions Division (MSD) provides Naval lifecycle management, engineering, enterprise transformation and program management support. Software Engineers - ALL LEVELS Noblis MSD is seeking Software Engineers to support the Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic, Network Integration Engineering Facility (NIEF). Position is located in Norfolk, VA. This position is contingent on contract award. Responsibilities: Develop detailed design updates for system components due to end of life or end of sale for CANES and ADNS Conduct analysis of alternatives on component modifications, including rack and environmental modeling, networking, and cyber impacts for modifications of fleet baselines Develop solution prototypes and mockups for testing Conduct detailed component and system level evaluations Coordinate with program design engineers. Software engineers research, design, develop, and test software components for fielded programs, develop the software systems that control computers. Develop new software systems to incorporate new technologies in a rapidly growing range of applications Support design and development of software solutions, including for operating systems and network distribution, and backup and recovery Possess programming and scripting experience in modifying COTS equipment. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree OR applicable experience as listed below. Required Experience: Software development; technology analysis and assessment; design definition; development of systems specifications; systems analysis; systems architecture; systems/equipment integration; test and evaluation criteria; and logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Experience also includes technical experience supporting design, analysis, manufacturing, installation, modification, repair, testing, and operation of Naval fleet electronic/communication equipment and systems. Certifications: Minimum IAT Level II must possess current IA certification (CompTIA Security+, Cisco Security, CASP, CISSP, and other advanced IA current certification. PLUS, must have current certification or recent certified training in one or more of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Security+, VMWare Certified Associate (VCA), and Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA). Junior-Level Bachelor's degree in STEM OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree Background / knowledge in systems engineering Compensation: $54,180 - $94,860 Mid-Level 1 Bachelor's degree in STEM OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree 3 years' experience (in addition to degree or substituted experience) Compensation: $65,520 - 114,660 Mid-Level 2 Bachelor's degreein STEM OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree 5 years' experience (in addition to degree or substituted experience) Compensation: $87,210 - 152,640 Senior-Level B.S. degree in STEM OR six years applicable experience in lieu of the degree 8 years' experience (in addition to degree or substituted experience) Compensation: $96,030 - $168,030 Secret Clearance required Required Skills: CANES and ADNS installation experience Understanding of enclave/load-specific application settings, their related off-ship connectivity requirements, and termination requirements of the particular enclave/load being configured Knowledge and capability to provide OJT familiarization training to the fleet regarding loading, maintenance, and troubleshooting of TACNET systems. Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receivea prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.
