Office (PMO) work is accountable for providing central expertise,
support, and control for an organization's technical
projects/programs including: *Developing technical program/project
management best practices/templates and providing
training/mentoring to project teams *Monitoring dependencies across
multiple inter-related technical projects *Gathering and reporting
consolidated technical project status and financial information to
leadership *In some organizations may serve as a central governing
body to review/audit adherence to methodologies, budgets, and
timing *In some organizations may provide full staffing and
management for the organization's major technical
projects/programs. * A relevant professional certification is
required (e.g., PPM, PgMP, ACP, etc.).
A senior professional managing matrixed teams of experienced
professionals who exercise latitude and independence in
assignments. Responsibilities typically include: * Ability to
organize and manage projects into a program or portfolio for proper
resource coordination and scope definition. * Able to leverage
relationships with leadership throughout the organization to
resolve conflict and issues as they arise. * Able to leverage
experience to manage larger, more complex projects and programs. *
Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year
or less). * Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. *
Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies,
practices and procedures.Qualifications:BLD - Bachelor's Level
