Interventional Radiology Location: Chesapeake, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,986 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Special Procedures Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:00 - 16:30) Experience: 3 years of experience required License: VA license required Certifications: ARRT CI, BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Neurovascular experience preferred Epic experience required First-time travelers will be considered Description: This position is for a Special Procedures Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology. The role involves performing a variety of interventional procedures. Candidates must have experience with neurovascular procedures. They should be capable of handling critical situations and maintaining a sterile field. Patients will include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support from various healthcare teams will be provided. The facility emphasizes safety protocols and proper equipment maintenance. Call is required on a rotating basis. Candidates should have a strong understanding of charting systems, specifically Epic. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The ability to monitor equipment and stock supplies is essential. Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and maintain the sterile environment during procedures.
