Information: Evenings - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13
Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an
experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider
where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing,
and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with
breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s
degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
program. Current state respiratory therapy license in good standing
with the Virginia licensure board. Registered Respiratory Therapist
(RRT) credential required. Minimum one year clinical experience as
an RRT. Experience in skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or
post-acute care settings preferred. BLS certification required.
ACLS and PALS preferred. Experience with ventilator management,
tracheostomy care, and aerosol therapy required. Familiarity with
noninvasive ventilation and airway clearance devices preferred.
Ability to perform patient assessments, respiratory diagnostics
(ABG interpretation, spirometry), and document care in electronic
medical records. Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet
facility onboarding requirements, including background and health
screenings as applicable. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled
Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Evenings. Shift Details: Evenings
1830-0700. Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Schedule Pattern: 3x12 shift rotation. Floating: Candidate may be
required to float to other affiliated facilities as needed.
