This position entails using evidence-based therapies to treat children with a variety of developmental, physical, and cognitive impairments, aiming to improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life. Evaluate children's skills in terms of motor development, sensory processing, play interactions, and daily activities, and identify areas needing improvement Develop and implement therapy plans based on each child's specific needs and goals Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy Regularly assess and record patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed Educate family members on therapy techniques that can be integrated into home routines Adhere to professional standards and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Strong understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and disorders Ability to create and implement effective occupational therapy interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on working with children Proficient in using therapy equipment and ensuring patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state Occupational Therapy license NBCOT Certified Pediatric Specialist (preferred but not required)
