Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leading provider of
facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a dedicated
and dynamic Nurse Supervisor to join our team. This vital role
ensures the highest quality of nursing care in our inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals through effective management and strong
leadership. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff and
collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to
promote excellent patient outcomes. As an integral component of our
healthcare team, the Nurse Supervisor will maintain standards of
professional nursing practice, in alignment with regulatory
requirements and our commitment to exceptional care. Supervise and
manage a team of nurses and healthcare personnel. Oversee patient
care planning and implementation. Mentor and train new staff and
foster a climate of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and internal policies. Prepare and review
records and reports to monitor and ensure quality patient care.
Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in clinical and
supervisory roles within a healthcare setting. Ability to handle
multiple tasks and crisis situations effectively. Strong knowledge
of healthcare regulations and standards. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid RN license. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certified. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
