Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare opportunity is available for a certified Surgical Technologist with expertise in orthopedic procedures, including total joint replacements and advanced technologies like the MAKO Robot. This contract position is based in a well-equipped surgical center located in Portsmouth, NH, offering a focused and rewarding environment in orthopedic surgery. Key Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required. Advanced skills in total joint replacements, MAKO Robot-assisted joint replacements, sports medicine procedures, and surgeries involving hands and feet. Experience in general orthopedic surgery procedures. Ability to work effectively in a surgical team setting with state-of-the-art equipment. Location:Situated in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, this surgical center boasts three fully equipped operating rooms, including advanced surgical technology like the MAKO Robot. The center is part of a modern facility that supports excellent patient care and professional growth. Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for orthopedic procedures. Assist the surgical team during operations, adhering to sterile techniques and safety protocols. Manage and operate surgical instruments and advanced robotic equipment. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to ensure efficient and positive patient outcomes. Maintain documentation related to surgical procedures using the centers paper-based system. Comply with hospital policies, including dress code standards (scrubs provided).
