Medical Director at Lawrenceville Correctional Center Health and Human Services, Public Safety Correctional facility in Lawrenceville, VA has opening for Medical Director Lawrenceville Correctional Center Health and Human Service Public Safety Full-Time (Salaried) Dept of Corr - Central Admin Up to $326,000 annul base Provides clinical direction and overall supervision of care delivered by Unit's Interdisciplinary Team consistent with ACA, completion of physical/psychiatric evaluations, DX, and treatment. Minimum Qualifications Medical doctor with a Virginia license Board eligible/certified in psychiatric, internal medicine or family practice Graduation from an accredited medical school Considerable active medical treatment and management experience Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills Strong management and supervisory skills Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills Ability to work cooperatively with the nursing department and the allied health professionals in partnership with the Healthcare Administrator.
