EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Chesapeake, VA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,800 to $3,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00/Hourly. Summary: The Electrophysiology Technician assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology procedures. This role involves preparing patients and equipment, operating specialized EP lab technology, monitoring patient status, and ensuring accurate data collection while maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Responsibilities: Prepare the electrophysiology lab for procedures, including equipment setup and calibration. Assist physicians during EP studies, ablations, device implants (pacemakers, ICDs), and tilt-table tests. Operate and monitor EP recording systems, mapping systems, stimulators, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, RCES, RCIS with EP experience as identified, or registry eligible.
