Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts Wednesday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week assignment duration • 24 hours of orientation required • Handle approximately 130 visits per day across 3 CT rooms • Must complete Epic online radiology CT class on unit as part of day 1 • Scrub color requirement: Grey • Work with patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • ARRT Registered CT Technologist certification required • Virginia license required or proof of application with proof of active license from another state • Previous experience with GE or Siemens scanners and PACS required • Minimum 2 years of CT experience required • BLS certification required • Must have experience with: Abdomen without/with contrast, Pelvis without/with contrast, Chest without/with contrast, Head without/with contrast, Starting Peripheral IVs, Brain perfusion, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Vascular CTA, Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, and Thoracic • Epic experience preferred • First time travelers welcome • Must complete up to 7 hours of non-billable modules during orientation • Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st) • Smoke/nicotine free facility Facility: This healthcare facility operates a high-volume radiology department with state-of-the-art CT imaging technology including GE and Siemens scanners. The facility maintains three CT rooms and processes approximately 130 patient visits daily, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services for emergency department patients and general diagnostic needs. The organization utilizes Epic electronic medical records and emphasizes advanced imaging techniques including brain perfusion studies and vascular CTA procedures.
