Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – General Anesthesia
Location: Norfolk, Virginia (Virginia healthcare jobs) Assignment
Length: 17 weeks (January 5, 2026 – May 2, 2026) Shifts per Week: 5
Shift Duration: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (based on clinical team
needs) Hours per Week: 36 Call: Weeknight and/or weekend call
required (1:10 rotation) CRNA Qualifications Active Certified
Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification Eligible for
Virginia CRNA licensure Minimum 1 year of experience as a CRNA in
an acute care hospital setting Proficiency in general anesthesia,
spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia
techniques Experience with adult anesthesia cases required;
pediatric anesthesia experience preferred Ability to manage
ventilation and perform central and arterial line insertions
Willingness to participate in call rotation CRNA Responsibilities
Administer general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia for
surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, vascular
(excluding open heart), neurosurgical (spine), complex orthopedic,
and obstetrical cases Deliver anesthesia care for adult patients;
pediatric anesthesia cases as needed Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality
patient care Conduct preoperative assessments and provide
postoperative anesthesia care Manage ventilation and perform
central and arterial line insertions Participate in weeknight and
