Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric OR Location: Norfolk, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,794 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Pediatric Operating Room RN Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatric OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Any 12 Hours Hours per Shift: 36 hours weekly Experience: 2 years of pediatric knowledge and skill License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Certification (Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification Must-Have: Ability to scrub and circulate in the operating room Flu vaccination required, no exceptions Description: The Pediatric Operating Room RN will provide care in the operating room setting. Ability to scrub and circulate is necessary. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on pediatric knowledge and skill. Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions. Candidates must hold a current BLS certification. PALS certification is also required for this position. This role involves rotating day, mid, and night shifts with combinations of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday requirements are part of the job. On-call duties are expected as needed.
