Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical
Nurse, LPN for their Emergency Department (ED) - Level 1 Trauma
Center. Sign on bonus available for qualified candidates! Sentara
Norfolk General Hospital is the region's first Magnet Hospital. It
is a 525-bed medical center, serves as a primary teaching facility,
and home to the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center within a 126-mile
region. Our Norfolk General facility has four intensive care units
and two intensive care units in our 112-bed Nationally Ranked Heart
Hospital that sits on our campus. Norfolk General is a
Comprehensive Certified Stroke Center, it has a national ranked
Urology Program and has a dedicated Burn Trauma Unit. We provide
heart, kidney, and pancreas transplants at Norfolk General
Hospital. In addition, the hospital is home to the Nightingale
Regional Air Ambulance that provides sophisticated critical trauma
care. The Norfolk General Hospital's Emergency Department is a
53-bed unit. Our Trauma One Facility is equipped to handle a
variety of medical emergencies, and approximately 10% are Trauma
related. As aLicensed Practical Nursewith Sentara, you can excel in

position include triaging, verifying medical information, caring
for the patient's overall health, and working closely with the
