City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Swing Shift Overview: Sentara is hiring a RN Transfer Center Bedflow Coordinator for the Fort Norfolk Transfer Center. This position is full time (36 hours per week), swing shift 1PM - 1AM Requirements: Registered Nurse Experience working in ICU, ED or Transfer Center Recent Acute Care Must poses the following skills: Ability to multitask, type with reasonable speed and take accurate notes. Transfer Coordinators assesses, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates transfers for patient flow throughout the system network. Coordinates and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and timely patient placement and/or transfers. Coordinates and communicates capacity management plan to nursing units, leadership team and physicians. Possesses clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to meet standards of care required by the patient population.
