Job Description Locums - PA - Orthopedic Surgery - Clinic - Midlothian, VA Why This Role? - 4-month maternity leave coverage - Work autonomously in a supportive team setting - Elective surgery population only - Epic EMR Duration: October 22, 2025 - February 22, 2026 Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Schedule: Monday through Friday, inpatient rounds and discharge coordination Clinical Details: - Elective orthopedic surgery patient panel - Autonomous PA rounding and discharge planning - Supervising physician not on-site but available - Procedures include dressing changes and line removal - Adult and geriatric patients - EMR: Epic Requirements: - Board Certified Physician Assistant - Active VA license - DEA - BLS - Clean history - Orthopedic surgery experience Skills Needed: - Inpatient orthopedic rounding and discharge planning - Autonomous clinical decision-making - Basic orthopedic procedures including dressing changes and line removal
