Job Description:
RN First Assist (RNFA) Location: Norfolk, VA Schedule: 4
weekdays/week (40 hrs) Rotating call: Weekdays (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekends (Fri–Sun) Requirements: RNFA Program Graduate
(AORN-accredited) Certs: CNOR, PALS – Required Experience: 3 years
in perioperative setting 2 years pediatric OR experience – Required
1 year cardiothoracic OR experience – Preferred Must be able to
scrub and circulate Role Summary: The RNFA collaborates with the
surgical team to ensure safe and effective surgical care. Functions
in an expanded nursing role per AORN standards, providing direct
assistance during procedures and creating individualized care
plans
