Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring for a Laboratory Support Technician to work in the Cytology Lab. This position is full time days. (9a-530p)

Job duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedures for result/interpretation by technical staff. Performs instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures

Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution required or for the Histology Lab candidates with a Bachelor of Science in general studies with 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry will qualify
