Registered Nurse - Advanced Heart Failure Specialty Unit
Seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Advanced Heart Failure Specialty Unit at Sentara Heart Hospital, a 112-bed care facility recognized for excellence in cardiac care.

About the Job
As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide high-acuity cardiac care to patients with severe heart failure, pre/post heart transplant, and pulmonary hypertension. You will work with high-tech equipment, including mechanical circulatory support devices and telemetry monitors, in a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Assess and admit patients, conducting regular checks and administering medications as needed
  
• Communicate with family members and oversee the overall care of patients
  
• Work with a team to provide high-quality patient care and maintain a positive work environment
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Diploma RN, associate degree RN, bachelor's degree RN, or master's degree RN
    
  • RN License in Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
    
  • BLS within 90 days of hire and ACLS within 1 year
