Job SummarySentara Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Sentara Heart Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiac conditions.Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients, conducting regular checks and administering medications as needed.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
• Oversee the overall care of patients, prioritizing their needs and making informed decisions.
• Participate in our comprehensive 12-week Transition to Practice program, designed to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to excel in critical care nursing.Requirements
  • ICU experience or 1 year of Intermediate - Stepdown level of care with cardiac knowledge.
  • 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience, PCU or ED.
  • Diploma RN, associate degree RN, bachelor's degree RN, or master's degree RN.
  • Virginia RN License or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.Benefits
