Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Sentara Healthcare. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and medications are available.
• Assess patients upon admission and throughout the procedure, administering medications and monitoring vital signs as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient information and provide clear communication to the ICU floor nurse after procedures.Requirements
  • Valid RN license
  • 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience
