Job Title: Cardiopulmonary Respiratory TherapistUniti Med is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Norfolk, Virginia.Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devicesRequirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Virginia
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
