City/StateNorfolk, VAOverviewWork ShiftRotating (United States of America)Sentara Health is currently hiring full time, part time and PRN CNAs to join their PACE facilities in Norfolk & Portsmouth, VA.Job Responsibilities:Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.Job Requirements:

• Licensed Nursing Assistant with VDH
• HS/GED or Graduate from a state approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School required.
• For applicants having recently completed approved program, state CNA certification required within 120 days of hire. New hires with existing state CNA must be in good standing. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification within 90 days of hire.With locations in Portsmouth and Norfolk, Sentara PACE recognizes that older people often have medical problems that last for long periods of time and require services from several different sources.
