Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Virginia

The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD), located in highly desirable coastal Virginia, is seeking an oral and maxillofacial surgeon due to service area growth. The successful candidate will join an existing practice that includes two other surgeons, and the goal is to build the group to include four to six surgeons. The service area has tremendous opportunity for a full-scope practice, as there is a lack of providers in the community taking on full-scope cases requiring an operating room.



CHKD serves as the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in the region whose surgical program is designated as a Level I Children's Surgery Center, the highest level possible, by the American College of Surgeons. CHKDs adult hospital partner, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is an adjacent Level I Trauma Center that serves as the primary teaching institution for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
