Thoracic Surgery Opportunity - Norfolk, VA (A Short Drive to Atlantic Coast Beaches) Sentara Healthcare, an award-winning, nationally recognized, non-profit, integrated healthcare system is expanding our thoracic program in Virginia Beach. Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to join their surgical team. Practice with three experience thoracic surgeons- one retiring soon. New grads welcome to apply as mentorship is available. Must be Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery.

Strong referral system with PCCM, GI, Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology. Must be comfortable performing the full spectrum of general thoracic surgery care inclusive of malignant and non-malignant diseases of the lungs, pleura, diaphragm, and the mediastinum including the esophagus. Advanced skills in bronchoscopy, thoracoscopic and laparoscopic surgery techniques are preferred and must have established skills in minimally invasive surgery and/or robotic assisted surgery.
