This is a full-time position with day shift hours located on the
campus of Norfolk General in Norfolk, VANo weekends or call
required.

Position Overview:
The Team Coordinator will assist the Manager with the daily 24-hour
operations of the EP Lab.Supervises 20 staff members to ensure
patient safety, provides high quality outcomes and an exceptional
patient experience; assists Manager in the development and
monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinates the purchasing
and payroll processes; serves as a technical/clinical resource to
team members; and performs work assignments as needed to provide
appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Will assist
Manager with interviewing, hiring, developing, and retaining staff
members with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team. TC
coordinates and/or assist with staff education, orientation and
precepting of members of the team. TC is responsible for
evaluations, coaching and mentoring. Must have effective
communication/ interpersonal skills and adapt leadership style to
support achieving department goals and objectives. TC will assist
with staffing as needed.
Required: 3 years of EP Lab experience, some leadership experience,
a Bachelor's Level Degree OR other formal professional/technical
preparation in a relevant discipline for the area/personnel
supervised. RCES Certification.

SummaryThe Team Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the
daily operations of one or more clinical areas. Supervises
procedural area staff including coordinating quality and customer
service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of
the departmental budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll
processes; serving as a technical/clinical resource to team
members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide

Bachelor's degree or other formal professional/technical
