Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medicine - Cardiac Telemetry Unit, 4 West! This position is a full time- night shift position. This 24 bed Medicine Cardiac Unit offers all rooms telemetry and eHospital monitoring. Subspecialty patient populations to include oncology, stroke, diabetes, GI, inpatient hospice, and general medical. Sentara Leigh Hospital is a Magnet Status, 250-bed facility featuring all patient-friendly private rooms and specializing in orthopedic, gynecological and urological services. Sentara Leigh offers a contemporary care environment for general medical/surgical and ambulatory services and is home to the orthopedic hospital, which has 48 beds dedicated to specialized orthopedic care. The hospital offers a full-service Emergency Room with a dedicated observation unit, Critical Care, GI, and Oncology services. It also encompasses a Family Maternity Center. Sentara Leigh Hospital is centrally located between Downtown Norfolk and the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, just about 20 minutes away from each area. For designated Oncology units, Oncology Care ONS/ONCC or Sentara approved course Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire. Women's Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire. Behavioral Health - De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire. Inpatient Pediatrics.
