Job Description:
The Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP) consisting of
Dragados USA, VINCI, and Flatiron has been selected to construct
the $3.3BN Design Build project -the largest civil construction
contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation
(VDOT).-- The project scope across a 9 mile section of the I-64
will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will
accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water,
replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the
addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45'
diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second
largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America. The project
is expected to continue to the end of 2025. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procuring material and small tools.
- Communicate with suppliers on procurement-related matters.
- Coordinates purchasing regarding inventory changes and
needs
- Inspects and maintains physical condition of warehouse,
facility and equipment
- Develop and implement new purchasing process.
- Processes returns and credits with vendors with proper
documentation for the service dept.
- Schedules and conducts physical inventories throughout the
fiscal year
- Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for
replacement of small equipment and tools
- Reports request for tool or equipment needs for purchase
- Coordinate daily delivery requirements
- Tool control admin
- Maintain warehouse inventory
- Maintain a computer database of all material stored.
- Provide a Monthly Report.
- Fills requisitions for service department materials, tools or
other stock items and distributes items to electricians
- Transfer parts to job or vans by pulling inventory and logging
into software
- Follow up on back ordered for service orders
- Performs minor tool repair
- Checks in materials from distributors
- Schedules daily warehouse drivers transport of stored items
from warehouse to job site or to pick up items from job
sites/vendors for relocation
- Prepares parcels for mailing and returns
- Directs recordings of expenses and analyzes purchase and repair
costs to control expenditures
- Verify and approve material on work orders prior to
invoicing
- Ensure all employees are following safety and operating
procedures
- Address inventory errors and develop corrective actions and
control processes
- Monitor inbound deliveries
- Assist with invoice errors, material expedites and
sub-contractor requirements
- Organize and maintain warehouse and receiving areas
- Drive to consistently strive for improvement in both team and
self

position. REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, and
Operations or equivalent experience in Warehouse Management
- 5 - 7 years as Warehouse Manager experience
- Experienced Leadership in the area of process
change/improvement
- Superior organization skills/accuracy and attention to
detail
- Be able to work independently and perform duties
- A strong solution finder
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in
Windows-based systems
