This person will further develop the organization's voice, clearly communicating the company's brand and strategy in a manner that reaches and appeals to target audiences, facilitating interest, engagement, buy-in and advocacy in the company's strategic initiatives. Overall, this role helps drive the promotion and protection of the organization's brand reputation.Manager over Internal/Executive Communications:This particular role will lead the enterprise-wide internal communications practice in alignment with organizational mission, values, strategic plan and annual goals. S/he also will serve in a professional and advisory role to lead communications for company-wide strategic initiatives as well as initiatives impacting a specific region, division, or segment of the company. Key Focus Areas:

  • Leads communications support for Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic counsel and serving as a ghostwriter and developing individual voices/personas - media interview prep, quotes, letters, emails, presentations, speeches, white papers, bylined articles, thought leadership
  • Partner with HR on internal and team member communications around change management initiatives and/or other issues; employee engagement & advocacy; internal brand voice management
  • Collaborate with Chief Diversity Officer around D&I strategic plan/comms
  • Collaborates closely with the Marketing & Government Relations team to ensure coordination around related strategic initiatives, activities, plans, events, branding, etc.Additional responsibilities:* Crisis communications/issues mitigation* Brand reputation* Strategic communications planning* Media relations* Social Media* Familiarity w/ CRM; utilizes various technologies & tools to execute* Demonstrates experience in data analytics, developing budgets, resource allocation, ROI* Tracks campaign performance/sets metrics/implements best practicesRequired Education:
    • Required: Bachelor's Degree
    • Master's degree preferred in business, marketing or communications.Job Requirements:
      • Required: Eight to ten years of progressively advancing communications and marketing experience.
      • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in or aptitude for management of professional level staff.
      • Experienced in leading initiatives across divisions in a complex organization. Proven experience in successfully serving in an advisory role to senior leadership.
      • Self-disciplined with strong project management skills, solid analytical problem-solving skills, great attention to detail and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Collaborates with key internal department leaders to provide strategic change management communications and ensure enterprise-wide awareness and coordination around strategic initiatives and brand.

        Additional qualifications: Master's degree preferred in business, marketing or communications. Eight to ten years of progressively advancing communications and marketing experience. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in or aptitude for management of professional level staff. Experienced in leading initiatives across divisions in a complex organization. Proven experience in successfully serving in an advisory role to senior leadership. Self-disciplined with strong project management skills, solid analytical problem-solving skills, great attention to detail and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
