Position Summary:
The Director of People Analytics will establish and execute the overall strategy for employee data at the company. This includes data governance practices, tools, technology and the team required to provide actionable information and insights about our people to drive a rewarding employee experience, and business success.
they will partner closely with business and HR Leaders, the IT and HR Technology teams, and other functions to build the systems infrastructure required to collect and analyze HR data, offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and executives, and will interface with HR and other business functions to enable them to meet their business objectives through data and analytics. This role will also be responsible for developing predictive analytics that will compel specific business decisions
The ideal candidate is a proven leader both tactically and strategically who can play a vital, hands-on role in developing the People Analytics team, data management and governance practices, tools and technology evolution, and leveraging best practices in the industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Establish and execute the People Analytics vision and strategy
  • Provide strategic support to the Human Resource function in the areas of people metrics, reporting, and advanced predictive analytic capabilities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the HR service areas (learning and development, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, compliance, people relations) to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight
  • Build partnerships and work closely with internal technology teams and vendors to deliver tools and system solutions, provide monthly review and assessment of the business solution performance and adoption
  • Ensure the People Analytics team:

    • identifies and supports HR and business reporting and data needs, initiates and prioritizes reporting tool enhancement, and prepares report and reporting solution specifications
    • designs and implements self-service reporting tools and data management that reflects the complexity our business
    • designs and implements dashboards that present data in a meaningful and actionable framework for leadership
    • interprets employee data to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends in data, as well as factors that could affect the results of research
    • develops predictive models for attrition, high performance, and recruiting demand
      identifies statistical analysis techniques required to deliver insights
    • advances the use of complex analytical techniques and statistical thinking across HR
      creates, maintains, and ensures quality assurance of key human resources data sets, reports, and metrics
    • develops and maintains appropriate benchmarks with other organizations




      • Establish the strategy for technology and analytical tools to develop and analyze enterprise-wide people and other cross-functional data as needed
      • Serve as the domain expert for human resources data and analytics
      • Serve as an active participant on cross-functional project teams and provide guidance and training to teams in asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into action
      • Clearly tie People Analytics to business objectives and outcomes
      • Monitor data & analytic trends to identify opportunities to adopt Artificial Intelligence
        Initiate broad strategy for HR Business Intelligence that includes project intake, visualization tools, quality assurance, and branding
      • Partner with colleagues and customers to achieve meaningful discussions regarding data outputs and feedback on usage activities to improve HR output
      • Improve upon current reporting standards by providing new functionality including canned reports, dashboards, predictive analysis, emailed reports, and mobile reporting capability
        Interact with professional/community group related to analytics and business intelligence and maintain strong internal and external network of peers
      • Communicates strategy and technology roadmaps to executive staff and key industry partners and customers; leverages recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision-making at the highest organizational levels
      • Create a stable data environment for HR
      • Create and communicate a set of standards for data and the technology to drive leverage and reuse across the organization
      • Collaborate with subject matter experts across HR service areas to promote data governance and stewardship, data quality and advancement of HR technology capabilities
      • Promote data consistency, accuracy, and completeness with articulated data standards
      • Perform data quality reviews utilizing quality assurance methods to identify problems and errors
      • Oversee HR system security including creating and updating user roles. Ensure appropriate security levels are applied and de-provisioned. Conduct periodic HR security access audits
      • Other duties assigned as necessary to support HR and the enterprise
        Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

        • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy in large, complex organizations
        • Deep technical hands-on expertise in data analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting
        • Prior experience in HR data modeling to support the creation of advanced analytics, BI toolsets, and automated reporting
        • Ability to analyze large HR data sets and transform them into business analytics to inform human capital decision making
        • Strong analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, creativity, a proven work ethic, and solid communication skills
        • Excellent consultative skills, understanding business needs, and translating those needs to technical requirements. Clear communication to business and technical leaders
        • Strong creative problem solving with the ability to craft tailored solutions to meet the wide range of business needs across the organization
        • Ability to work successfully in a matrixed environment
        • Able to use sound negotiation and influencing skills and political savvy in working with executives down to front-line employees, to drive change
        • Use formal methodologies to understand and solve complex problems
        • Ability to manage human capital across multiple geographies and organizations to drive workforce development and achieve desired results
        • Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting with senior management and executive roles for internal and external partners
        • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
          Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building, and conflict resolution
        • Proven ability to define and drive standards and governance across multiple divisions
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
        • Ability to effectively communicate strategy, architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels



          Required/Minimum Qualifications

          • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Human Resources, or related disciplines
          • 8+ years in applicable Human Resources analysis and/or reporting experience
          • Experience hiring, managing, mentoring, and developing talent with a minimum of 3 years of managing teams
          • Experience with HR data, HRMS/HRIS systems experience (SaaS and on-premise ERP)
          • Broad experience with analytic toolsets with ability to conduct advanced analytics and organize and visualize data with tools such as Qlik Sense, SAS, DAX, M, Power Query and R


            Additional, Preferred Qualifications

            • Master's Degree (MBA)
            • 3+ years experience in various disciplines within human resources in a global company
