Asset Management Data Analyst

In accordance with the FTA's requirements for State of Good
Repair (SGR), the function of this position is to collect,
maintain, and analyze HRT's asset management data, including
inventory, costing, useful life, condition assessment, performance
measures and targets for all HRT assets. - Duties are conducted as
a basis for updating HRT's Transit Asset Management (TAM) Plan,
preparing for FTA Triennial Reviews, reporting to the NTD,
requesting state and federal funding, prioritizing capital
projects, and developing policies and procedures for the continual
improvement and support of HRT's asset management program.
Essential Job Functions:
(Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit
duties that might reasonably be assigned.)
Responsibilities include data processing, analysis and reporting
for all asset management/SGR related data within the agency.
Measure and monitor asset management performance for Facilities,
including locations, quantities, and maintenance vendors.
Develop procedures, forms and work measurements to improve
efficiency in asset data collection and condition assessment.
Visit all HRT facility asset locations annually, document/verify
facility asset inventory, and conduct condition assessments on all
facility assets - including ALL HRT bus stops and passenger
Review SGR database and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Systems
for data integrity and compliance with FTA reporting requirements,
and be able to provide ad hoc reports from these systems.
Develop and present oral, written and graphic presentations for
accurate reporting and informative dissemination of complex data,
in an accessible and understandable manner to a wide variety of

and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System for annual TAM Plan
update to FTA.
Coordinate Facilities equipment and supplies inventory control
program (i.e. ordering/procuring, documenting, budgeting, storage
Update and maintain facility as-built drawings to reflect repairs,
replacements, and modifications to HRT facility assets for
Facilities work order management system - including furniture,
lighting, doors/locks, windows, electrical outlets, data ports, and
Inspect and verify bus stop sign/amenity damage, contractor
repairs, proposed new locations and changes to existing locations -
including biannual Board Changes.
Manage records created and received in compliance with the Hampton
Roads Transit Records Management Policy and Procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a general awareness of HRT's Safety and

Training and/or Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, Business
Administration or related field; or commensurate combination of
experience and education that meets the minimum requirements for

Virginia Driver's License
